Love doesn’t have to be loud – sometimes, it fits perfectly in a bottle. Love in a Bottle is a handcrafted terrarium with a romantic twist. Through the circular front opening, you get a glimpse of a miniature love story: featuring a Hoya Kerrii (heart-shaped leaf), 2 succulents, Tillandsia moss, and three small decorative roses in red or pink (randomly selected). The glass bottle is sealed with a cork and filled with moss and soil – a stylish green gift that requires minimal care. Thanks to the semi-open system, this terrarium stays beautiful with very little effort.

Care

This terrarium has an open front, allowing air to circulate, perfect for the succulents inside. Place it in a spot with bright, indirect light. Water sparingly, about once every 3–4 weeks, and only when the soil is fully dry. Succulents like dry feet, so avoid overwatering. No misting needed. Keep away from direct sunlight and cold drafts for best results.

    • Cura

      Un terrario aperto non è autosufficiente, quindi va annaffiato regolarmente.

      Succulente e cactus: annaffia poco ogni 2 settimane. Lascia asciugare completamente il terreno tra un'annaffiatura e l'altra.
      Piante tropicali: mantieni il terreno leggermente umido. Annaffia 1-2 volte a settimana, evitando i ristagni.
      Muschio: assicurati che il muschio non sia secco. Se lo è, immergilo in acqua per 10-15 minuti. Strizza delicatamente l'acqua in eccesso e rimettilo al suo posto. Così resta fresco, verde e idratato.

    • Posizione

      I terrari aperti crescono bene in ambienti caldi e stabili. Tienili lontani da termosifoni, stufe o correnti fredde. Scegli un punto con temperatura costante, idealmente tra 15 e 25°C. La luce intensa ma indiretta è la migliore. Il sole diretto può bruciare le piante e seccare troppo in fretta il terreno. Un davanzale con luce filtrata o una mensola vicino a una finestra è il posto perfetto. Cerca di non spostare troppo spesso il terrario: le piante preferiscono un ambiente stabile per restare sane.

    • Decorazione

      Un grande vantaggio del terrario aperto è che puoi aggiungere liberamente elementi decorativi. A differenza dei terrari chiusi, il rischio di muffa o marciume è molto più basso. Pensa a materiali naturali come legni di mare, pietre o cristalli. Puoi aggiungere anche piccole statuine, conchiglie o oggetti in miniatura per un tocco personale. Assicurati solo che sia tutto pulito e asciutto prima di inserirlo. La struttura aperta lascia circolare l'aria: perfetta per uno styling creativo senza mettere a rischio la salute delle piante.

    FAQ: terrari aperti

    Posso inserire legno o corteccia?

    Sì! A differenza dei terrari chiusi, quelli aperti non trattengono l'umidità, quindi il legno non fa la muffa.

    I terrari aperti hanno bisogno di uno strato drenante?

    Sì. Ti consigliamo una base di ghiaia o argilla espansa per proteggere le radici dall'acqua in eccesso.

    Posso combinare diversi tipi di piante?

    Solo se hanno le stesse esigenze di cura. Succulente e piante tropicali vogliono quantità d'acqua diverse, quindi è meglio raggrupparle per tipo.

    È un buon regalo?
