Activated Carbon Terrarium - 25 grams - Charcoal for terrariums

Description

The premium activated carbon (charcoal) from urbanjngl is an excellent addition to the drainage layer of your terrarium. This 25 gram bag is the right amount for one smaller build, or a handy top up if you are running low.

Activated carbon removes unwanted metals, pollutants and odours from your terrarium. It works in both open and closed setups, though it makes the biggest difference in a closed terrarium where the same water keeps circulating.

How to use it

  • Start with a drainage layer of clay pebbles at the bottom
  • Spread a thin layer of activated carbon over the pebbles
  • Add your terrarium soil on top of the carbon
  • Plant your terrarium and water lightly

Using activated carbon keeps the water in your closed ecosystem cleaner, which is better for your plants and for the whole terrarium in the long run.

      Beautiful and well-designed terrarium

      The Dome XL arrived safely and well packed. The two-part glass design is beautiful, practical and provides plenty of space for creating a planted micro-ecosystem. The kit was straightforward to assemble, and the finished terrarium looks elegant both at home and in the office. I am very satisfied with the product and look forward to observing how the ecosystem develops over time.

      Bin fröhlich mit den Biosphären. Ich habe nur an je einer Pflanze schwarze Flecken auf den Blättern bekommen und Trauermücken haben sich eingenistet. Mal schauen wie ich das wieder in den Griff kriege.
