Terrarium tips: Heat and sunlight

Keep your terrarium and plants away from windows and especially direct sunlight!

You wouldn't want to sit in a closed greenhouse in the full sun right now, would you? Neither do your plants and mosses in your terrarium! In periods when it is above average warm, place your closed terrarium in a more shady spot in the house and keep them away from windows and especially direct sunlight!

This prevents;

  • Too much heat in your closed terrarium
  • Too much condensation
  • Yellowed leaves
  • Brown leaves
  • Burnt leaves
  • Mold formation
